Vida V1 Delivery Starts: Hero MotoCorp has started deliveries of the Vida electric scooter. The company has delivered the first unit of the electric scooter to a customer in Bangalore. Let us tell you that the company has opened its first Vida Experience Center at Vittal Malaya Road in Bengaluru. The company plans to take the scooters to major cities. After Bengaluru, the company will start delivery of scooters in Delhi and Jaipur in a phased manner.
Hero has launched the Vida V1 electric scooter range under the Vida brand. The Vida V1 competes with premium electric scooters like the Ather 450X, TVS iQube, Ola S1 Pro and the Bajaj Chetak in the Indian market.
Vida V1 – Battery and range
Vida V1 has been brought in two variants V1 Pro and V1 Plus. The Vida V1 Pro has been priced at Rs 1.59 lakh while the Vida V1 Plus has been priced at Rs 1.45 lakh. In Hero Vida V1 Plus, the company has used a 3.9 kWh battery. This gives the scooter a range of 143 km on a full charge. Talking about the Vida V1 Pro, the company has used a 3.94 kWh lithium-ion battery, which can give the scooter a range of 165 km on a full charge. The top speed of Hero Vida V1 scooter is 80 km/h.
Vida V1- Charging
The time it takes for an electric scooter to charge is also important. In terms of charging, the Vida V1 scooter can travel up to 1.2 kilometers in just one minute of charge. While the Vida V1 Pro takes 5 hours 55 minutes to charge from 0-80% and the Vida V1 Plus takes 5 hours 15 minutes to charge.
Vida V1 – Features
All lighting in Vida V1 scooters is provided in LED. This scooter is equipped with a removable battery which can be charged even after removing it from the scooter. The Vida V1 comes with a TFT display along with features like Bluetooth and smartphone connectivity. Ride mode can also be customized as per the convenience through the mobile application in Vida V1. 26 liters of storage space has also been given in this scooter. On the other hand, for safety, features like tracking function, remote locking / unlocking, single disc brake and emergency alert button and cruise control have been provided in the scooter.
