Design-wise, the Super Splendor XTEC looks similar to the regular model, but comes with new all-LED headlamps and LED DRLs. The XTEC variant of the Super Splendor 125 is available in three colours. These include Gloss Black, Candy Blazing Red and Matte Axis Grey. The Super Splendor XTEC stands out because of its long features list. It also gets a USB mobile charging port and a new digital instrument cluster that shows low fuel warning, real-time mileage, service indicator and more. In the new Hero motorcycle, the company has given Bluetooth connectivity feature with call and SMS alerts. The Super Splendor Xtec is powered by the same engine as the regular variant.
It comes with a 124.7cc, single-cylinder, air-cooled, fuel-injected engine that produces 10.7 bhp of maximum power at 7,500 RPM and 10.6 Nm of peak torque at 6,000 RPM. The engine is mated to a 5-speed manual gearbox. The company claims that this bike can give a mileage of up to 68kmpl. The seat height of the bike is 793mm.
