Hero MotoSports Team Rally continues to perform well in Dakar Rally 2022, see Stage 8 Ranking

Wadi Ad-Dawasir, Saudi Arabia

The Hero MotoSports Team Rally in the Dakar Rally 2022 held in Saudi Arabia is witnessing a great performance for the second week in a row. The Motosports Team of Hero MotoCorp, the world’s largest manufacturer of motorcycles and scooters, both the riders of the Hero MotoSports Team Rally also performed well in Stage 8 in the second week of the Dakar Rally. In the eighth stage, Joaquim Rodrigues managed to break into the top 10 again and is ranked 7th, while Aaron Mare finished 19th.

The 8th stage of the Dakar 2022 Rally GP class was very fast and both the riders of the Hero Motosports Team Rally kept pace in this stage and finished the stage without much trouble. Joaquim Rodrigues is in great spirits after winning the third stage of the Rally GP class and is performing well in every stage, which is a great thing for the team. In the 8th stage too, he repeated his brilliant performance and made it to the top 10. Now Joaquim is at 14th position in the overall Rally GP class ranking. At the same time, Aaron Mare is also enjoying the rally while enjoying a ride on the Hero 450 Rally bike. He did well in the Long Dune section in the 8th stage on Monday, after which his overall ranking is now 16.

The 8th stage of the Dakar Rally 2022 started with a sandy dunes and then riders had to pass through a thin rocky path and then riders had to cover a difficult distance in the wet stretch. The riders then had to find the right track before passing through the valley and the plains and this 400 km section was quite a difficult one.

Now riders will have to ride in the 9th stage of Dakar Rally 2022 in Wadi ad-Dawasir in a 490 kilometer loop, passing through mountains and valleys, during which they will have to face strong winds. However, the next stage will get less sand than the previous stage. However, these short sections are not going to be easy for the riders.

Joaquim Rodrigues :
I started the 8th stage well, which was the fastest stage of the rally. It was a good race and I tried my best to give my best performance on Hero Rally 450 bike. I am happy that I did well in this stage as well and the result is also consistent, which is consistent. I hope to keep performing like this till the last stage of the rally.

Aaron Maré:
Stage 8 got off to a good start and I thoroughly enjoyed my ride till I refueled the bike. After refueling the bike had to go through a very fast and windy track and since this track did not have many stones, it made it easy for me to navigate the track. I am glad that I touched the finishing line without making any mistake and I am happy with my consistent performance. I hope for better results in the coming stage.
