Hero Mavrick 440 launched in India, based on Harley-Davidson X440 platform

Hero MotoCorp has introduced the Mavrick 440 motorcycle in the Indian market. In the mid-capacity segment, this model will compete with popular motorcycles like Royal Enfield Classic 350, Triumph Speed 400, Honda H’ness CB350. Mavrick is a premium motorcycle from Hero MotoCorp and is also the company’s most powerful two-wheeler in the Indian market. It is built on the same platform as the Harley-Davidson X440 and also uses the same powertrain. Its 440 cc engine claims to generate 27 hp and 36 Nm torque.

The motorcycle has a round headlamp with H-shaped DRL, which gives it a roadster look. Along with a single-piece seat, it gets features like digital instrument cluster, Bluetooth connectivity with call alert and turn-by-turn navigation. The lighting is entirely LED. The instrument cluster also supports e-SIM. The bike comes with diamond-cut alloy wheels.

The Hero Mavrick 440 is powered by a 440 cc single-cylinder, oil-cooled engine, which produces 27 hp of maximum power and 36 Nm of peak torque, as claimed by the company. The engine is mated to a 6-speed transmission. The motorcycle gets 43 mm telescopic forks at the front and dual shock absorbers at the rear. Disc brakes are present at both ends.
