Hero MotoCorp has introduced the Mavrick 440 motorcycle in the Indian market. In the mid-capacity segment, this model will compete with popular motorcycles like Royal Enfield Classic 350, Triumph Speed 400, Honda H’ness CB350. Mavrick is a premium motorcycle from Hero MotoCorp and is also the company’s most powerful two-wheeler in the Indian market. It is built on the same platform as the Harley-Davidson X440 and also uses the same powertrain. Its 440 cc engine claims to generate 27 hp and 36 Nm torque.
The motorcycle has a round headlamp with H-shaped DRL, which gives it a roadster look. Along with a single-piece seat, it gets features like digital instrument cluster, Bluetooth connectivity with call alert and turn-by-turn navigation. The lighting is entirely LED. The instrument cluster also supports e-SIM. The bike comes with diamond-cut alloy wheels.
The Hero Mavrick 440 is powered by a 440 cc single-cylinder, oil-cooled engine, which produces 27 hp of maximum power and 36 Nm of peak torque, as claimed by the company. The engine is mated to a 6-speed transmission. The motorcycle gets 43 mm telescopic forks at the front and dual shock absorbers at the rear. Disc brakes are present at both ends.
Maverick 440 has been introduced in white, red, blue, black and matte black colors. It is available in three variants – Base, Mid and Top. The price has not been announced at this time. Bookings for the model have already begun, with deliveries scheduled to begin in February.
Hero Maverick competes with motorcycles like Royal Enfield Classic 350, Triumph Speed 400, Honda H’ness CB350. It will even compete with the Harley-Davidson X440.
