Hero Electric introduced three new e-scooters, will be launched soon

New Hero Electric Scooters: Electric two-wheeler manufacturer Hero Electric has recently introduced its new range of electric scooters. Under this, the company is going to bring three new electric scooters in the market, which include Optima CX2.0, Optima CX5.0 and Nyx CX5.0. The prices of these scooters are expected to be revealed soon. The Hero Optima CX2.0 e-scooter will get a single LFP battery pack, while the Optima CX5.0 and Nyx CX5.0 will get a dual LFP battery pack.

2023 Hero Optima CX2.0

The 2023 Hero Optima CX2.0 is powered by a 2 kWh lithium-ion battery, which gives the scooter a range of 89 km per charge. This battery can be fully charged in four and a half hours. It is connected to a 1.9 kW electric motor. Its maximum speed is 48 kmph. The new Optima CX 2.0 weighs 93 kg and gets 165mm of ground clearance. It gets side-stand sensors with drive mode lock, reverse roll protection and combined braking system as features.

2023 Hero Optima CX5.0

A 3 kWh lithium-ion battery has been used in the Optima CX5.0. Which is connected to a 1.9 kW electric motor. It gets a range of 113 km per charge. It can be run at a top speed of 55 kmph. Its weight is 103 kg and ground clearance is 165mm. Using the dual charger, its battery can be charged from 0-100 in about three hours.

Hero Nyx CX5.0

The 2023 Hero Nyx CX5.0 also uses the same battery pack and motor as the Optima CX5.0. Its top speed is 48 kmph. A range of 113 km per charge has been claimed for this scooter. It takes about 3 hours to charge. It weighs 106 kg and has a ground clearance of 175mm.

Ola competes with S One

Hero Nyx CX5.0 will compete with Ola S One, which offers a range of 121 km per charge. Its cost is around one lakh rupees.
