Hero and Mahindra launched cheap electric scooter, price starts from ₹ 55,580, range also great

Hero Electric and Mahindra Group have launched their first electric scooter under their strategic partnership. This scooter has been launched under the name Optima. This scooter is being manufactured at the plant located in Pithampur, Madhya Pradesh, both the companies had recently announced their partnership. This partnership is for 5 years in which an investment of about Rs 150 crore has been made.

With the help of this partnership with Mahindra Group, Hero Electric has set a target of producing around 1 million electric vehicles every year. Under the partnership, the two companies will jointly develop a supply chain for electric two wheelers.

Features of Optima
Hero Electric introduced the all-new Optima scooter in December last year and since then the speculations of the launch of the Optima were being done. Many cool features have been given in this scooter. The Optima electric scooter is equipped with cruise control feature and this feature gives uniform speed to the person driving the scooter. The beauty of this feature is that the rider can set the speed according to his convenience. The scooter also gets a cruise control button to activate this cruise function, which when activated, shows the cruise symbol in the speedometer and can be activated at any time by braking or throttle.

According to the price range, this scooter offers a good range. On a single charge, this scooter can give you a range of up to 82 km. It gets 550 W of power through a BLDC motor and it takes 4-5 hours to fully charge. Talking about braking, you get front brake drum, rear brake drum in it. The Hero Electric Optima HX price is Rs 55,580 (ex-showroom), ex-showroom. You can buy this scooter in 4 color variants which include Blue, Grey, Red and White color options.
