Electric Two Wheeler Sales: Almost all the electric two-wheeler companies in the country have released their sales reports. Last month, Ola Electric once again managed to sell more scooters in the country. Although Ola has not released the official sales information, but according to the reports, the company has sold 18,270 units of electric scooters in the month of January. With this figure, the company managed to retain its position at the top for the third consecutive month.
According to the official figures of Ola Electric, the company sold 25,000 electric scooters in December last year. Accordingly, there has been a decrease of 6,730 units in the sales of scooters in January 2023. Despite this, Ola is ahead of other electric scooter companies in sales.
Among other companies, TVS registered sales of 10,378 units of iQube electric scooters. And Hero MotoCorp-backed electric scooter maker Ather Energy sold a total of 9,187 electric scooters. Hero Electric’s electric scooter sales stood at 6,457 units during the same period.
Talking about Okinawa, the company sold 6,457 units of electric scooters. And Ampere sold 4,424 electric scooters. Bajaj managed to sell 2,606 units of the Chetak electric scooter. While talking about Kinetic, the company registered a sale of 1,336 e-scooters.
At the bottom of the list are companies like Okaya and Pure EV, which sold 1,293 and 726 electric scooters respectively. Talking about electric bikes, Revolt Motors managed to sell only 14 e-bikes last month. On the other hand, Torque Motors registered sales of 64 units of its electric bikes.
If reports are to be believed, there has been a slight decline in the sales of electric two-wheelers in January 2023. A total of 64,298 two-wheeler electric vehicles have been registered in the month of January last year, as against 64,527 units registered in the same month last year.
