Despite six months into the new year, Mahindra still has some stock left of its 2023 models. To clear this stock, the company is offering hefty discounts and cashbacks on models like XUV400 EV, XUV700, and Scorpio N. These discounts have been ongoing since last month. Here’s a breakdown of the savings you can make on your new MY 2023 Mahindra SUV.
Benefit up to Rs 1.5 Lakh
Similar to last month, Mahindra’s flagship SUV is receiving a discount. XUV700 is getting a flat cash discount of Rs 1.5 lakh on all its variants. Except for the AX5 7-seater variant in diesel-MT, diesel-AT, and petrol-MT forms, which is getting a cash discount of Rs 1.3 lakh.
Automatic Gearbox
This car offers two engine options compared to Tata Safari and MG Hector Plus. The first is a 2.0-liter turbo-petrol engine, which comes with a 6-speed manual or torque converter automatic gearbox. The second is a 2.2-liter
turbo-diesel engine, which comes with gearbox options available in AWD variants. The price of Mahindra XUV700 ranges from Rs 13.99 lakh to Rs 27.14 lakh (ex-showroom India).
Recently, the company expanded the XUV700 lineup with the introduction of a new entry-level MX 7-seater trim and a limited-run top-spec Blaze variant along with the mid-spec AX5 Select 7-seater variant. Mahindra has worked hard to reduce the waiting period for the SUV, cutting down the order backlog to half of what it was, now standing at just three months.
Discount on Mahindra XUV400 in June
Most variants of the pre-update Mahindra XUV400 EV are receiving significant discounts. The company is offering a hefty discount of Rs 4.4 lakh on this model, which has been ongoing since last month. Excellent discounts are available on the higher model EL. This model comes with a 39.4 kWh battery, 7.2 kW fast charger, and ESC as standard. The total benefit on this model is less than Rs 3.4 lakh.
The price of the XUV400 currently ranges from Rs 15.49 lakh to Rs 17.49 lakh. This car is available in EC and EL trims. In EC, you get a 34.5 kWh battery pack with a 3.3 kW charger, while in EL, you get options of 34.5 kWh and 39.4 kWh with a standard 7.2 kW charger. The smaller battery of the XUV400 offers a range of 375 km, while the larger one offers a range of 456 km. It directly competes with the Tata Nexon EV.
Discount on Mahindra Scorpio-N
Discounts on Mahindra’s new Scorpio-N are also ongoing like last month. This discount is only for the top-spec Z8 and Z8L variants. There is a cash discount of up to Rs 1 lakh on the 4WD diesel variant, while there is a flat discount of up to Rs 60,000 on the 2WD petrol and diesel trims.
