Har Ghar Tiranga : Use this online trick to display your photo in Digital Tiranga

New Delhi: Upload Selfie With Flag: The Har Ghar Tiranga campaign will be launched from August 13. Under this campaign tricolor will be installed in every house. The central government has also started a website for this. Here you get many options. You can easily join this place. A digital tricolor option is provided here. A photo of several people can be made together in a digital tricolor.

By clicking a selfie with the tricolor, you can involve yourself in the digital tricolor. So far more than 94 lakh people have uploaded their photo. You have to go to the official website (https://harghartiranga.com/) to upload photos. After going to this place you will see a lot of options. Along with PIN A Flag you will also see Upload Selfie With Flag.

Selfie can be uploaded
After you click on Upload Selfie With Flag, you will open the desktop or smartphone gallery. After this you can easily upload your photo. Once the photo is uploaded you can select the photo. The best photo will be placed in the digital tricolor. Before uploading a selfie, make sure that the photo is suitable for uploading with the Tricolor.

Here’s how you can Pin Indian flag virtually

1. Open the Har Ghar Tiranga website (harghartiranga.com)
2. Click on the ‘Pin a Flag’ button on the website.
3. You will need to enter your name and mobile number. There’s also an option to login using your Google credentials. Fill in all the required details.
4. Users need to share location access to proceed, so allow location access in your device.
5. Now you are ready to Pin Tricolour in your location.
Citizens can also upload their selfie with the national flag on the Har Ghar Tiranga website. Here are the steps to post your selfie with the flag on the website:

  1. Click on ‘Upload Selfie with Flag’ button
  2. A pop-up will open, write your name.
  3. Upload selfie and click on ‘Submit’ button

Also you can download the certificate from here. Here you have to go and fill a form. After filling the details, you will also have to show the location. After this you can also easily download the certificate. Selfies of many people have also been given place on the Government of India portal. If your selfie is also liked, then you can also be seen here, but for that you have to upload the selfie first.

 

National Flag Code 2022: Dos and don’ts related to hoisting of Tricolour

With the recent amendment into the Flag Code of India, the government has allowed the flag to be flown even in night. Earlier, the Nation Flag had to be taken down every evening and hoisted back every morning.

According to the Flag Code of India, “a member of the public, private organisation, or educational institute is allowed to hoist the National Flag on all days and occasions, ceremonial or otherwise, consistent with the dignity and honour of the flag.”

The Flag Code of India also says that the National Flag should be of any size but always rectangular, with the length-to-height ratio fixed at 3:2.

The code further states that the position of the National Flag has to be distinct and honourable. Also, a damaged or untidy flag must never be displayed.

Subsequently, Flag Code envisions the provisions in which you cannot use the flag and says that the Tricolour cannot be used for commercial purposes.

Going further, the flag cannot be dipped in salute to any person or thing or as a festoon, or for any kind of decoration purposes, says the Flag Code.

It should be noted that according to Article 51A (a) of Indian constitution, it shall be the duty of every citizen of India to abide by the Constitution and respect its ideals and institutions, the National Flag and the National Anthem.

That being said, while there were various types of Indian National Flags before the Independence – the Constituent Assembly held on 22nd July 1947 adopted the present flag as the National Flag of India.

How to dispose of the national flag?

The damaged national flag must be disposed of as a whole in private and can be done by either burning or any other method that would give due regard to its dignity. National flags made of paper should never be disposed of on the ground after the citizens have waved them.
