DxOMark Labs has released the battery test results for the iPhone 14 Pro, which scored 119, ranking 8th among high-end models, slightly higher than the iPhone 13 Pro.
DxOMark said that despite the low battery capacity, the iPhone 14 Pro’s battery life is above average, especially when browsing social media and using GPS navigation.
This means that the iPhone 14 Pro is well optimized and the discharge rate is very slow in all usage scenarios. However, there are downsides: it takes almost 2 hours to fully charge the battery with a 20W wired charger, and after five minutes of charging, it can only recover about 3 hours and 9 minutes of battery life, which is far from the market average.
In addition, the battery rating of the iPhone 14 Plus was published, which scored 128 points and took fourth place in the ranking of premium smartphones, slightly behind the iPhone 14 Pro Max.
Overall, the iPhone 14 Plus has excellent battery life. The downside, like the older models, is the charging speed. The 20W charger takes 2 hours and 29 minutes to fully charge the 4323 mAh battery. At the same time, a wireless charger of the same power charges the smartphone in 2 hours and 54 minutes.
