Google has announced the first Workspace product suite, which is equipped with built-in artificial intelligence, functionally similar to ChatGPT. So far, this feature is expected in Google Docs (Documents) and Gmail. The operation of the system was shown on the example of generating a description for a vacancy.
To begin with, a short hint is formulated, after which the system itself creates the necessary text. In the future, AI will be able to write, check and rewrite texts, as well as come up with unusual and interesting ideas.
In the mail client, the functions of Smart Reply and Smart Creation have already appeared, and now artificial intelligence has learned to complete a small letter or, conversely, expand a long one. It also allows you to change the tone of the letter, making it more formal or not. He will also be able to create bulleted lists.
In the future, generative artificial intelligence will appear in the Vertex AI cloud and App Builder, and the developers promise to open access to the API soon. As for the launch of AI in Google Docs and Gmail, the novelty will first appear there for a limited circle of testers, this will happen in March. Then everyone will have access, but there is no exact timeframe yet.
