New details about Google’s upcoming smartwatch firmware have surfaced online. This time, insiders showed off the interface of several stock applications for Wear OS 3 – from a voice assistant to a multimedia player.
The first set of screenshots shows a redesigned mobile version of Google Assistant and, presumably, a Fitbit app tile that shows the number of steps a user has taken during the day. It is possible that this service will become a full-time replacement for Google Fit.
The following images show incoming notifications with the sender and additional information: app name, date/time, and a brief preview of the conversation. Also showcased is the Agenda tile design with the time of the event at the top of the screen.
Rounding out the list are screenshots of the YouTube Music, Google Pay, and Messages apps. It is expected that the new version of Wear OS will be presented during the upcoming Google I / O event, but Google itself has not yet made official statements on this matter.
