Rumors surrounding the Google Pixel 9a smartphone have been fueled by leaked images of branded cases for the upcoming device. Based on the renders, the new model appears to forego a distinctive design element on the back panel that was characteristic of previous versions.
According to the leak, the new case will have a similar shape to those for older models, but the prominent camera module protrusion will be absent. This change is noticeable when comparing the cases with the accessory for the standard flagship version.
Google will reportedly offer at least four color options for official silicone cases at launch: pink, black, purple, and white. The cases will feature a microfiber lining to prevent scratches on the smartphone’s body.
The Google Pixel 9a is expected to launch in March, though an exact release date has yet to be announced.
