What will change in Gmail?
Google told in its blog post that after the new update, users will also get the feature of Smart Reply with Smart Compose in both Smartphone and Web versions. Google has also given features like Custom inbox theme, phishing, malware protection, AI based spam, in the new integrated design of Gmail. This change will be available to all users with Google Workspace.
How will the new view be used
Meanwhile, Google’s support page says that Gmail users will be able to access the new view by turning on Chat in Gmail and setting Chat on the left-hand panel. They will get a new look. Apart from this, users will be able to customize all the sections in the newly redesigned interface. For this quick setting section will also be given.
If you don’t like the new look then do this
If users do not like the new look of Gmail, then they also have the option to go to the old look. For this, users can opt out of the new look by clicking on Settings > Quick Settings > Go back to the original Gmail view > New Window > Reload. Apart from this, Google is also working on some more new features of Gmail, including upgrading search results and emoji design.
