Good news for crores of BSNL customers! 4G services can start from January

New Delhi. Discussion is going on for a long time regarding the 4G network of the state-owned telecom company BSNL. Now reports have been received that the company is preparing to roll out its 4G service, and it can be started from January. According to sources, the company has issued a tender to TCS to install 4G network. TCS can give its consent to the tender within the next 2 to 3 days. It is learned that the company will get an order to install 1 lakh towers.

The company will have to install towers within 2 years. The total expenditure on setting up the tower will be Rs 26,821 crore. Let us tell you that BSNL has recently received a bailout package of Rs 1.64 lakh crore from the government.

BSNL had recently said in a statement that after the roll out of 4G service, more customers will join the company than before. The government believes that with the rollout of BSNL’s 4G network, India will be counted in the club of countries like America, Sweden, Finland, South Korea and China.

BSNL can start its 4G service in the beginning of next year. Tejas Networks, a unit of Tata Sons, will manufacture network radio equipment for BSNL. TCS will also have to maintain the network for the next 9 years. The government has already approved the tender. Only one company was qualified in BSNL’s 4G tender.

How long to expect 5G network?
If sources are to be believed, BSNL has made a plan to launch 5G by August 2023. The company wants to expand 4G and 5G service simultaneously. A new plan has been made for this.
