Good news for account holders, this bank has increased the cash transaction limit from ATM

ATM Cash Withdrawal: The bank has given great relief to the customers using debit cards and ATM cards. The bank has increased the limit for withdrawing money from ATM machine, online and POS. Canara Bank has informed on its official website that now customers can withdraw more money than before.

The bank has announced revision of its daily debit card transaction limit for ATM cash withdrawal, Point of Sale (POS) and e-commerce transactions with immediate effect.

How much is the daily limit
According to the information given by the bank, the daily ATM cash withdrawal cap has been increased from Rs 40,000 to Rs 75 for Classic Debit Card. The PoS limit for these cards has been increased from the present limit of Rs.1 lakh to Rs.2 lakh per day. For NFC, the bank has not increased any amount. It is 25 thousand rupees as before.

As per the information given on the Canara Bank website, the default cards issued are only for domestic use at ATMs and POS. International, online and e-commerce transactions are not allowed at the time of card issue. Customers are given the facility to activate or deactivate the card channel-wise and set limit through ATM, Branch, Mobile Banking, Internet Banking, IVRS.

Punjab National Bank has recommended for increasing the debit card transaction limit. If this happens, the bank will increase the limit of MasterCard, Rupay, and VISA Gold debit cards.
