Gold Silver Rate: In line with the strong global trend, gold on Monday rose by Rs 304 to Rs 52,302 per 10 grams in the Delhi bullion market. HDFC Securities gave this information. In the earlier trading session, gold had closed at Rs 51,998 per 10 grams.

Silver also gained Rs 508 to close at Rs 67,407 per kg. Silver had closed at Rs 66,899 per kg in the previous trading session.

In the international market, gold prices rose to $ 1,953 an ounce, while silver was almost unchanged at $ 24.93 an ounce. Globally, gold was trading 0.18 per cent higher at $ 1,949.10 an ounce in New York in today’s trading.
Dilip Parmar, Retail Research Analyst (Commodity) at HDFC Securities said, “Spot gold rose 0.34 per cent to $1,953 an ounce on COMEX, a New York-based commodity exchange on Monday, keeping gold prices firm.”

Gold futures on Monday rose by Rs 59 to Rs 52,130 per 10 grams in futures trade as speculators created fresh positions on strong spot demand. On the Multi Commodity Exchange, gold for delivery in June rose by Rs 59, or 0.11 per cent, to Rs 52,130 per 10 grams. It traded for 18,196 lots. Market analysts said buying of fresh positions by participants led to the rise in gold futures prices.
