Its prices have come down to 53 thousand. Gold has become cheaper by Rs 915 per ten grams in Delhi bullion market today. Due to this fall, gold slipped up to Rs 52,367 per ten grams in the Delhi bullion market. This information has been given by Dilip Parmar, Retail Research Analyst, HDFC Securities.

A trading day ago, gold had closed at Rs 53,282 per ten grams in the Delhi bullion market. Along with gold, silver has also become cheaper today and its prices have come down to 70 thousand. Today the rupee strengthened by 29 paise against a US dollar to reach a price of Rs 76.21 (Provisional).

Silver is also cheap along with gold

There was a fall in the price of silver along with gold in the Delhi bullion market today. There was a slippage of Rs 2,221 per kg in its price. Due to this fall, the prices of silver slipped to Rs 67,969 per kg in the Delhi bullion market today. A trading day ago, silver had closed at Rs 70,190 per kg in the Delhi bullion market.

Gold slipped in the international market and there was a slight decline in silver

Talking about the global market, there was a downward trend in gold, while there was a slight decline in the price of silver. In the global market, gold was traded at US $ 1,942.5 (Rs 1.48 lakh) per ounce (1 kg = 35.3 oz) while silver was traded at US $ 24.94 (Rs 1903.30) per ounce. According to Parmar, due to the rise in US bond yields, the pressure on gold prices increased and its prices fell to a week’s low. (Input: PTI)
