Giant 2.7 kW ‘power bank’ for Tesla vehicles with Starlink internet unveiled

Tesla unveiled a trailer with deployable solar panels as well as the SpaceX Starlink satellite system at IdeenExpo in Germany.

Starlink recently upgraded its system to use terminals to connect to the Internet in moving vehicles, so this solution is sure to please many users.

Nine panels with a power of 300 W each allow you to generate up to 2.7 kW when unfolded or three times less when they are folded.

Even though Tesla has built such a trailer and unveiled it at the show, the automaker doesn’t intend to sell it to the general public any time soon.
