Leading British luxury car manufacturer Aston Martin has updated its vehicle portfolio in the Indian market by launching the new Aston Martin Vantage sports car. Equipped with attractive looks and a powerful engine, the starting price of this sports car has been fixed at Rs 3.99 crore (ex-showroom). The company has made many major changes in this car from exterior to interior, which make it better than the previous model.

How is the new Aston Martin Vantage:

In terms of looks and design, some cosmetic changes are seen in the new Vantage. It has been given a new bumper and front grille. Apart from this, the wide radiator grille with standard LED headlights improves its front look. The company has given it 21-inch wheels, which are equipped with Michelin tires. Some cosmetic changes have also been made in the rear part of the car.

No stone has been left unturned to make the cabin premium and luxurious. Modifications like the DB12 are seen in it. As soon as you enter, your eyes fall directly on the 10.27-inch infotainment system. Bowers & Wilkins’ audio system has been provided in this car. Apart from this, leather seats with lightweight carbon fiber material enhance the cabin.

Power and Performance:

The biggest change in this sports car is seen in its engine compartment. The company has used a new 4.0-liter capacity V8 engine sourced from AMG, which generates additional power of 155PS and torque of 115Nm. The company says that the power output of this engine has increased by 30%, and torque by approximately 15% compared to the previous model. Now this engine generates power of 665PS and torque of 800Nm. Obviously, such a powerful engine will help a lot in accelerating the car.

The company has paired this engine with an 8-speed ZF automatic gearbox, which distributes power to the rear wheel. The company claims that this car is capable of accelerating from 0 to 100 km/h in just 3.4 seconds and its top speed is 325 km/h.

Technology:

Aston Martin also says that several of the car’s traction-management modes, launch control system, and electronic power steering have all been changed to improve performance and driving experience. All this technology is controlled with a braking system, in which front 400 mm steel rotors with six-piston calipers and 360 mm rotors at the rear with four-piston calipers have been provided. Apart from this, a set of carbon ceramics is also offered as an option.
