Genesis unveiled the X Convertible concept car at an event held before the opening of the Los Angeles Auto Show.
The concept received a long wheelbase with a short front overhang. The car borrowed headlights, lanterns and bumpers from the Genesis X Speedium Coupe presented in the spring, but at the same time it received an original hardtop with two transparent inserts above the front passengers, a smoother side stamping line and original rims.
Inside, there is a digital instrument panel and an infotainment system screen that curves around the driver’s seat and hints that all controls in the car are designed specifically for the driver. Using the screen from the passenger seat is unlikely to be convenient.
The manufacturer claims that the interior uses a combination of leather and eco-friendly fabric that is recyclable.
Genesis X Convertible is an electric car, but the manufacturer has not yet disclosed the technical specifications.
