In Russia, a new large sedan, the Geely Preafce, has become available for order. Various dealers are ready to deliver the car from China on order, the cost starts from 2.78 million rubles.
The Preface is built on the CMA platform jointly developed by Volvo and Geely and is equipped with a single 2.0 petrol engine with 190 hp. The gearbox is exclusively a 7-speed “robot”.
Sedan dimensions – 4785 x 1869 x 1469 mm, wheelbase – 2800 mm. Preface is in the same niche as Volkswagen Passat, Hyundai Sonata and Kia K5.
In early spring, several dozen Geely Preface appeared in Belarus. They were brought in to study demand and, if available, sedans could be put into mass production at the BelGee plant. But instead, the company will most likely launch the production of the more affordable fourth-generation Geely Emgrand.
And yesterday in Russia at one of the dealers new Coolray lit up. It was probably brought in for certification.
