GDP: World Bank reduced India’s growth forecast, GDP will be 6.3 percent in FY 2024

World Bank India Growth Estimate: Today the World Bank has released an estimate for India’s economic growth rate and there is no good news under it. The World Bank has said in its latest report that India’s economic growth rate in the financial year 2024 will be at 6.3 percent. Due to less consumption, there will be slow income growth and its impact on India’s GDP will be seen. The World Bank had earlier estimated India’s economic growth rate at 6.6 per cent for the current financial year.

However, the good thing in this report is that the World Bank has also reduced the estimate of India’s inflation rate. The World Bank has reduced the estimate of inflation rate for India in the financial year 2024 from 6.6 percent to 5.2 percent. This is an indication that this global organization is expected to reduce the prices of goods in India in the coming times.

what the world bank said

The World Bank has said that the Indian economy will see some negative effects in the current year due to reduced consumption, slow growth and challenging external conditions.
