According to the Association of European Businesses (AEB), in March of this year, the Gorky Automobile Plant sold 2,886 light commercial vehicles, which is 36% less than in March last year. But according to the results of the quarter, sales decreased by only 5% and amounted to 9337 cars.
GAZelle remains the sales leader in March of this year with the result of 2274 cars sold, sales decreased by 39%. Sales of GAZ Sobol amounted to 612 vehicles, which is 22% less than a year earlier.
The GAZelle NN line of commercial vehicles of the new generation, which today includes an on-board modification, an all-metal van with a gross weight of 3.5 tons, a combi van and a minibus, will be further supplemented by a chassis and various special equipment options. This will allow creating a large range of light commercial vehicles with a gross weight of 3.5 and 4.6 tons, with various body types, wheelbases and special equipment options.
The Sobol NN light commercial vehicle with a gross weight of 2.5 tons will also appear in the NN family, which is planned to be presented as part of the Comtrans 2021 international exhibition.
