The GeForce RTX 3060 has made some incredible headway in Steam statistics. In just a month, the share of this adapter has grown from 4.36% to 10.67%! Unless this is some kind of bug or bug, this is probably the highest increase in the entire history of the Steam database.
The RTX 3060 is now the most popular graphics card in Steam statistics. In fact, as we said earlier, the RTX 3060 has long been a leader when you count mobile and desktop adapters together, because before the release of the RTX 30 line in the Steam database, mobile and desktop GeForce cards were always considered together. However, now it is the desktop RTX 3060 itself that has become the leader. And with a good margin from the nearest pursuer.

In second place, by the way, was the RTX 2060, which also added very well over the month: by 3.42 percentage points, up to 8.05%. The GTX 1060 closes the top three, which, interestingly, also grew well: from 5.28% to 7.85%. But the share of the GTX 1650, which held the lead for a long time, fell immediately by 2.08 percentage points, to 4.04%.
What is the reason for the explosive growth in popularity of the RTX 3060 in such a short time is unclear. In particular, this adapter has not been distinguished by any significant price drop lately.
