New leaks reveal how the Galaxy S26 Ultra’s Privacy Display will work, including automatic activation, maximum privacy mode, and custom controls for sensitive content.
New details about the Privacy Display feature on the upcoming Samsung Galaxy S26 Ultra have been revealed.
It is already known that Privacy Display will be one of the flagship-exclusive features of the Galaxy S26 Ultra. The technology is designed to hide on-screen content from prying eyes. Recently, leaker Tarun Vats shared fresh details about the feature by posting screenshots of the privacy settings on the social media platform X.
According to the leak, the proprietary technology will include an “Automatic Privacy” option. When enabled, Privacy Display will turn on automatically while using apps that contain personal information or when the smartphone detects that it is being used in crowded places.
A more restrictive “Maximum Privacy” mode will further reduce screen brightness to limit visibility for people nearby. By selecting the “Custom Terms” option, users will be able to fine-tune the conditions that trigger Privacy Display and define how extensively it is applied.
The Galaxy S26 Ultra is expected to be officially unveiled on February 25.
