Petrol price in Mumbai has been increased by 84 paise and diesel by 85 paise per liter. After an increase of 85 paise in Chennai, petrol is being sold at Rs 110.95 and diesel at Rs 101.04 per liter. Fuel rates were hiked by 81 paise in Kolkata today, after which the price of one liter of petrol has been fixed at Rs 115.12 and that of diesel at Rs 99.83. At the same time, the price of CNG has been increased by Rs 5 in the last 48 hours in Noida and Ghaziabad adjacent to Delhi.

Crude oil demand decreased

Brent crude futures fell 97 cents, or 0.9 per cent, to $105.67 a barrel, while US West Texas Intermediate futures were down 98 cents, or 1 per cent, at $100.98 a barrel.
