1. Torque Motors
The Pune-based start-up is all set to expand its line-up at the Auto Expo 2023 with a new concept electric motorcycle. The manufacturer hasn’t announced details on the upcoming offering but it will be based on the same platform as Kratos. In addition, Tork will also showcase an updated version of the Kratos R at the expo.
2. Matter
Ahmedabad-based two-wheeler start-up Matter unveiled its first electric motorcycle in November last year and the company will announce the name and features at the Auto Expo next week. The Matter electric motorcycle will be the first of its kind in India to get a liquid-cooled motor and battery and boasts of a range of 150 km on a single charge. It will compete with Hop Electric, Torque Motors, Oberen Electric and others.

3. Ultraviolet Automotive
Bengaluru-based start-up Ultraviolette Automotive has already launched the F77, which is India’s fastest electric motorcycle. The bike maker is now planning a new concept electric motorcycle at the expo. The company has not given much information about it yet. But it could be based on the same platform as the F77.

4. LML Star
LML has emerged as a manufacturer of electric vehicles last year and the company has also introduced two electric scooters which will be launched in 2023. The manufacturer is now planning to showcase the LML Star electric scooter at the Auto Expo 2023. It could be in production-spec guise. Expect pricing, availability, dealer network and more to be announced at the biennial event. Also, LML might give us a glimpse of its future launches with plans for more EVs.

5. Benelli and Keyway
Both Benelli and Keyway are owned by China’s QJ Motor Group and distributed by Adishwar Auto Ride India (AARI), which will make their debut at the Auto Expo. Part of the Mahavir Group, AARI will showcase its Benelli and Keyway range which includes premium motorcycles and scooters. This also comes amid an aggressive push from the Indian company for new products.

6. Moto Bologna Passion (MBP)
Auto Expo 2023 will also introduce the Italian motorcycle brand MBP (Moto Bologna Passione) in the country. This will be AARI’s sixth brand in India. Headquartered in Bologna, Italy, MBP’s product range includes street-naked motorcycles ranging from 125 cc bikes to maxi-scooters, adventure motorcycles. The MBP M502N is expected to be one of the first offerings in the country.

7. Zontes and Moto Morini
Apart from this, Jontes and Moto Morini will also join the AARI club. Both the brands entered the premium motorcycle segment in India last year and offer a range of motorcycles ranging from 250 cc to 650 cc. This includes adventure motorcycles, street-fighters, scramblers and more. The entire range will be on display at the Auto Expo 2023, and the motorcycles are sold through Moto-Vault multi-brand dealerships managed by AARI.

8. Godavari Electric Motors
Auto Expo 2023 will have a brand new start-up in the form of Godavari Electric Motors. The Raipur-based firm has been operational since 2019 and will launch its retail EV journey at the expo. Godavari has confirmed that the start-up plans to launch two new electric vehicles, while also showcasing its existing EV range.

9. Greaves Electric Mobility
Greaves Electric Mobility, the electric mobility arm of Greaves Cotton, will unveil its new brand identity. The company plans to unveil six new electric vehicles at the expo, including two-wheelers, three-wheelers and electric locomotives. Greaves currently operates extensively in the sub-1 lakh segment in the electric scooter space and we can expect new models to arrive in the same price range.
