The name of Maruti Ertiga Facelift comes at the top of this list. Maruti Suzuki is working on a facelifted variant of the very popular Ertiga.

India’s largest car maker Maruti Suzuki has many new cars in the pipeline. The brand is expected to introduce updated versions of some of its existing models soon and some brand-new vehicles are also in development. Interestingly, some of these vehicles have already been spotted in production-ready variants. Here, we have listed some of the top upcoming Maruti Suzuki cars in India that have high chances of being launched. The name of Maruti Ertiga Facelift comes at the top of this list . Maruti Suzuki is working on a facelifted variant of the very popular Ertiga, which is expected to be launched by the mid of 2022.

Testing models of the updated MPV have been spotted several times on the Indian roads, with visual changes visible on the front fascia. The Maruti Ertiga facelift is expected to be available with the same 1.5L petrol engine as the outgoing model (a CNG option is available).

Maruti XL6 Facelift

The Maruti XL6, too, is set to get a facelift soon, possibly by the mid of 2022. The upcoming facelifted XL6 is likely to get exterior design changes along with additional tools. However, the 1.5L petrol engine will be kept unchanged.

New-Generation Maruti Vitara Brezza

The Maruti Vitara Brezza is expected to undergo a generation change soon, with more new models already leaked in India in the coming months. The compact SUV will see major changes in exterior and interior design and will get a host of extra premium features. The 1.5L petrol powerplant is expected to remain the same though the maker may offer a more powerful mild-hybrid system with it.

Maruti Swift S-CNG

Maruti Suzuki recently launched the CNG variant of the Dzire sedan in the Indian market. Now, we expect the Indo-Japanese carmaker to launch a CNG variant of the Swift hatchback within a few months. The Maruti Swift S-CNG will get the same 1.2-litre engine as the Dzire S-CNG, which is capable of producing 90 PS/113 Nm in petrol mode and 77.5 PS/ 98.5 Nm in CNG mode.

Maruti Baleno S-CNG

Along with the Swift S-CNG, we expect to launch the CNG variant of the Maruti Baleno as well. Its powertrain will be a 1.2-litre petrol engine like the regular Baleno, with a factory-fitted CNG kit added to the mix. Power output will be the same as the DZire S-CNG – 90 PS / 113 Nm when running on petrol, 77.5 PS / 98.5 Nm when running on CNG.
