Although in both the films, their directors have tried to read the dark pages of the life of the main characters, but while Anvita Dutt’s film gets lifeline from its supporting cast and music, Shashank Ghosh has done a great job for his film’s hero Karthik Aryan. A ‘Shahrukh Khan moment’ has been created in cinema. Karthik tried to make experimental cinema in his another film ‘Dhamaka’ too, but there the atmosphere of the story betrayed him, in the film ‘Freddy’ Shashank has created the whole atmosphere in a different color from the beginning.

Karthik Aryan’s ‘Shahrukh Khan moment’
Director Shashank Ghosh’s image has been in Hindi cinema since the beginning of making experimental cinema. He may have completely derailed in the recent release of Netflix film ‘Plan A Plan B’, here he has got full support of his hero in the film ‘Freddy’. Kartik Aaryan has a stubbornness and a passion to prove himself time and again. As an actor, he is on the path of Shah Rukh Khan in his early days. The film ‘Freddy’ also provides him an opportunity like ‘Darr’ and ‘Baazigar’. He has also tried his best to undergo physical transformation to play the role of a demure aging doctor. Patience is needed to get lost in the world of
‘Freddy’ It takes patience to watch the film ‘Freddy’ as the film takes some time to bring the audience into its fold, but once the viewer is in harmony with Freddy, then Freddy He takes them along with him in a hitchhiking ride. Ayananka Bose’s cinematography helps a lot in creating the atmosphere of the film and the lighting for each frame is commendable. Chandan Arora has captured the essence of the film while editing it and though he doesn’t have much scope to experiment with editing, he has managed to make the film a one-time watch over a period of time. The film’s soundtrack is its weak side. Irshad Kamil is slowly losing his influence and Pritam is also probably not getting some good tunes of world music these days.
