Poco is ready to launch two of its new X series phones. This series is expected to include Poco X6 and Poco X6 Pro which will be launched on January 11, 2024. The company has confirmed many features of the phone before launching, which has revealed its camera, display and battery. From the post shared by Poco on X, it has been revealed that the Pro variant of the upcoming series will be the first phone in India that will work on Android 14 based on HyperOS skin. However, its standard variant Poco X6 will work on MIUI out of the box based on Android 14.
The launch of this phone will be at 5:30 pm and it will be made available exclusively on Flipkart. The company has already confirmed that the Poco X6 Pro smartphone will be powered by the latest MediaTek Dimensity 8300 Ultra chipset. On the other hand, the vanilla Poco X6 model will feature Snapdragon 7s Gen 2 SoC.
A microsite of the Poco X6 series has been listed on Flipkart, which suggests that these smartphones will be equipped with Wild Boost 2.0 gaming optimization. This new technology claims to provide faster loading times, smoother gameplay and more accurate responses when playing mobile titles.
For heat management, the Poco X6 series smartphones will feature a stainless steel 5000mm2 vapor chamber. Its Pro variant can also have 12GB RAM and 512GB built-in storage.
Apart from this, the Poco X6 series models are expected to have a 120Hz display. As a camera, both the phones of the series can have a 64-megapixel primary camera sensor with OIS support. The upcoming phone is expected to support 67W fast charging and in-display fingerprint sensor.
