What is UPI: UPI stands for Unified Payments Interface. It is an instant real-time payment system. Which is specially developed by NPCI, i.e. National Payments Corporation of India for inter-bank transactions. The best thing about UPI is that it is regulated by the Reserve Bank of India i.e. RBI and for this reason it is considered completely safe and reliable. The entire account of transactions made from any platform UPI ID remains with NPCI. Paytm and Google Pay are the most used mobile payment and financial services apps in the country.
Select the bank account whose UPI ID PIN you want to change here. After selecting the account details, you will get the ‘Create New UPI PIN’ option, click on it. After selecting this option, you will need to submit the bank account details, including the last 6 digits of the debit card and the expiry date of the card. After entering the details, click on the ‘Proceed’ button. After processing, OTP will be sent to the registered mobile number, which has to be submitted. And then you have to enter the ATM PIN. After entering the ATM PIN you will get the option of Set Your Pin, then you can enter the UPI PIN.
First, open the Paytm app on the phone in which your account is logged in. Go to the ‘Profile’ icon in the app and open it, it will be at the top left of the app. Go to ‘Settings’ option in the profile section and click on ‘Payment Settings’ tab in the settings section where there is ‘Save Cards and Bank Accounts’ option, click on it. Save Cards and Bank Accounts will get a list of all the bank accounts you have placed on Paytm and the debit and credit cards you have linked.
First, in the Google Pay app, click the profile icon at the top left. Click on Payment Method. If more than one bank account is linked, click on the bank platform on which you have your UPI ID. Click on the three dots. In which the Change UPI PIN option appears. Click. You want to fill in two blanks in the Change UPI PIN. The existing UPI PIN has to be inserted in the first and the new PIN has to be inserted in the second. After entering the existing UPI PIN and the new UPI PIN, you will be prompted to enter the new UPI PIN again.
When it comes to the benefits of UPI, the transaction is of course Rs 1 lakh, or just Rs 1, all types of transactions and payments are done quickly on UPI. The UPI account is directly linked to the user’s bank account and does not require OTP when making payments through it. The transaction is completed by entering the UPI PIN. The big advantage of this payment interface is that even if you use UPI account of any bank or app, during UPI transactions, all QR codes complete the transaction on the same platform.
