FM Nirmala Sitharaman: People of Indian origin should be part of India’s progress in the next 25 years

FM Nirmala Sitharaman Finance Minister Nirmala Sitharaman has requested people of Indian origin living abroad to be partners in the progress of the country during the next 25 years. Addressing the Indian community at an event organized in Silicon Valley, Sitharaman, who is on a tour of America, said that India is going to complete hundred years of its independence in the next 25 years. During this, people of Indian origin living abroad should become partners in India’s progress.

Finance Minister tweeted
According to a tweet made by the Finance Ministry on Sunday, Sitharaman highlighted the contribution of Indians in the field of innovation and research. During this, he also referred to the structural reforms made by his government and requested the Indian community to be a part of the elixir of independence.

Plan to take you on a new journey of development
The time period from 75th year of India’s independence to 100 years has been named ‘Amrit Kaal’ by the government. In this period, the government has expressed its resolve to take India on a new journey of development. Sitharaman has asked the people of the Indian community present in large numbers in America to be a part of this journey of progress.
