First sedan jointly developed by Volvo and Geely: presented Lynk & Co 07 EM-P PHEV

The car Lynk & Co 07 EM-P PHEV was announced at the end of last year, and now we have all the specifications and official photos, published by the Chinese regulator, which gave approval for the start of sales.

Lynk & Co — joint brand of Geely and Volvo, founded in 2016. Its current model line consists of seven models. Lynk & Co 07 EM-P PHEV — the first sedan jointly developed by Volvo and Geely, it is a mid-size hybrid hybrid with a range of up to 102 km. Mass production of the model will begin this month.

Lynk & Co 07 EM-P can measure up to dimensions of 4827 x 1900 x 1480 mm with a wheelbase of 2843 mm. It is 143 mm longer than the Lynk & Co 03, and slightly shorter than the Toyota Camry. Front and rear wheelbase of this Chinese sedan make up 1622 mm. The angles of entry and exit are also the same and constitute 14 degrees. Front and rear heights of 07 EM-P constitute 940 and 1044 mm respectively.

Lynk & Co 07 EM-P equipped with wheels 235/45 R18 or 245/40 R19. Its unladen mass reaches 1915 kg. Full mass is 2319 kg. Inside Lynk & Co 07 EM-P five seats are provided. Lynk & Co 07 EM-P is based on the CMA Evo platform, intended for connected hybrid cars. Under the hood it has a 1,5-litre internal combustion engine (BHE15-BFZ) at 120 kW. The same DPS is installed in the crossover Lynk & Co 08 EM-P.

The basic equipment of this sedan will receive an electric motor with a capacity of 160 kW. The Chinese regulator confirmed that the Lynk & Co 07 E-MP received the battery with LFP capacity of 18,99 kWh from CALB.
