Chinese company Realme is gearing up to launch its first true premium flagship smartphone. Yesterday the company first published images of smartphone Realme GT 2 Pro, declassifying its appearance. The full performance of the two models in the series has now become known through the certification and published documentation of the Chinese regulators TENAA and MIIT.
In addition, an official promotional video has been published for the Realme GT 2 Pro. The video demonstrates in more detail the appearance of the smartphone shown to us yesterday. The focus is again on sustainability and paper-like texture.
As for the characteristics. The smartphone received a 6.7-inch AMOLED screen with a resolution of 3216 x 1440 pixels with an image refresh rate of 120 Hz, a sub-screen fingerprint sensor and a 32 megapixel front camera, a main camera with a 50 megapixel main sensor, a 50 megapixel ultra-wide-angle module and an additional module for 2 Mp.
The hardware base is the Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Gen 1 SoC, 8 or 12 GB of LPDDR5 RAM and 128 or 256 GB of built-in UFS 3.1 flash memory. The 5000mAh battery supports 65W fast charging.
The smartphone will be equipped with the latest operating system Android 12 with a proprietary shell Realme UI 3.0. 5G (SA / NSA), 4G VoLTE, Wi-Fi 6 (802.11ax), Bluetooth 5.2, NFC, GPS are supported, there is USB Type-C and stereo speakers, there is no 3.5 mm audio jack. The dimensions are 163.2 x 74.7 x 8.2 mm and the device weighs 199 grams.
In addition to the “paper” version shown by Realme, according to the regulators’ documentation, green, blue and black color variants of the case are also expected.
The official debut of the Realme GT 2 Pro will take place at a presentation in China on January 4th.
