Company AMD today not only reported for the financial yearbut also confirmed the approximate timing of the release of new Ryzen processors.
Collaborator Tom’s Hardware says that AMD has confirmed the release of processors on the Zen 5 architecture in the second half of this year. There are no exact deadlines yet.
Actually, it is not yet clear what exactly these processors will be. But, if we talk about desktop Ryzen 8000 (the name is tentative), it may well be released already in the autumn. It is the release of desktop CPUs that is most likely, as the current Ryzen 7000 debuts in late August 2022, so it will be two years until the release of new processors of the current generation.
However, at the event’s more prestigious financial report, AMD head Lisa Su confirmed that the mobile Ryzen generation Strix will also be released this year, as will the server Epyc generation Turin.
