1. Heads Up Display
Maruti Suzuki recently launched its updated Maruti Baleno in the market and to the surprise of the people, the company has given the feature of segment-first head-up display in this car. It gives information like current speed, clock, drive mode (in AMT variant), rpm meter, instant fuel economy, door ajar warning and climate control information. However, this feature is given only in its top-spec variant.

2.9-inch touchscreen system and premium audio
A major upgrade on the 2022 Maruti Baleno is the 9-inch touchscreen SmartPlay Pro+ infotainment system. This is the largest factory-fitted central display ever for Maruti Suzuki. Apart from this, an Arkamys-tuned music system has been given in the Maruti Baleno, which has been given for the first time in a Maruti Suzuki car. Both these features are also available in its top-spec Alpha variant.

3. Connected Car Tech
Another great feature upgrade that is seen on the Baleno facelift is connected tech. This includes Suzuki Connect (telematics), Alexa connectivity and even smartwatch connectivity. After Baleno, it has also been introduced in 2022 Ertiga and 2022 XL6. This feature can perform tasks like turning off headlights, unlocking and locking doors and setting speed limits.

4. Paddle Shifters
Maruti Suzuki has included this feature in the first 2022 Maruti Ertiga and then the later launched 2022 Maruti Suzuki XL6. It was believed that this feature will be given in the first updated Maruti Brezza. This feature is available from the second-to-base VXi trim of the Ertiga.

5. 360-degree camera
Maruti Suzuki gave a surprise to the premium hatchback space in India by adding a 360-degree camera to the 2022 Baleno (a segment-first). The four-camera setup is definitely a great feature for the Baleno and the new XL6, as it helps the car drivers drive in congested and cramped parking spaces.

6. New 6-speed automatic gearbox
Till now, the company was offering a 1.5-litre petrol engine with 4-speed automatic gearbox in its models like Ertiga, XL6, Ciaz, and S-Cross. However, with changing times and increasing competition, Maruti Suzuki updated it. It is offered in the form of a 6-speed torque converter unit on the 2022 Ertiga.

7. Ventilated Front Seats
From premium models to mass market cars, one of the most important features is the ventilated seats. Companies like Hyundai and Skoda-VW use this feature in some of their products and now Maruti Suzuki has also joined the list. The 2022 Maruti XL6 is the first from the company to get this feature.

8. A Beefier Safety Kit
Maruti Suzuki has been focusing on introducing many new features to its cars over the years, though the company used to lag behind in terms of safety. But the company has changed this practice with the facelifted Baleno, which is now offered with a maximum of six airbags. After this, the company has also increased the number of airbags in its two popular MPV Ertiga and XL6.
