Fiido has unveiled the Beast, a hybrid off-road vehicle powered by a twin electric engine that can be used as both a scooter and a seated scooter.
The vehicle is equipped with two combined engines with a power output of 1.3 kW and a battery capacity of 1536 Wh, which provides a range of up to 70 km in dual drive mode or 100 km in mono-engine mode. It also features dual suspension to smooth out bumps, dual hydraulic brakes, 11-inch all-terrain tires, built-in lighting on both sides, and a kickstand.

Thanks to the magnesium alloy frame, the Beast manages to fit in at 36.5 kg (80 lbs) of total weight, and the Beast can also be folded down to a compact size of 1310 x 710 x 570 mm for easy portability. The multi-angled handle bar is adjustable and features an LCD display with USB for smartphone charging. The developers abandoned the traditional engine start system with a key and installed a keypad for activation under the seat.
Like many Fiido electric rides, Beast is due to launch on Indiegogo soon. The electric scooter is expected to retail for $2,399, but early backers can purchase it for $1,599.
