FADA Report All vehicle sales records broken in November 2023, FADA report comes out

Mumbai: FADA (Federation of Automobile Dealers Association) has presented a report of the auto sector. According to which, November 2023 may probably be recorded in the pages of history as the month of sales of the Indian auto retail industry. Actually, according to FADA, 28.54 lakh vehicles have been sold in the auto sector this month. At the same time, during the Corona period, it crossed the previous highest level in March 2020. Where 25.69 lakh vehicles were sold.

These vehicles made sales records

Maruti Suzuki led the charts with sales of 1,34,158 units last month.

It was followed by Hyundai and Tata with 49,451 units and 46,070 units respectively.

The passenger vehicle category witnessed a surge due to Diwali and launch of new models.

Two-wheelers (2W) and passenger vehicles (PV) also set new records, 22.47 lakh 2Ws were sold

3.6 lakh PVs were sold.

The best-selling two-wheeler brands include names like Hero MotoCorp and Honda Motorcycle & Scooter India.

November 2023 saw an increase of 18% compared to the same month last year and a growth of 35% compared to the previous month.

Sales of two-wheelers and three-wheelers also increased

Two-wheelers, three-wheelers (3W) and passenger vehicles grew by 21%, 23% and 17% respectively year-on-year. However, tractors and commercial vehicles (CV) declined by 21% and 2% respectively. Two-wheeler sales witnessed significant growth this month, reaching an all-time high. Strong rural sentiments due to festive enthusiasm and rising agricultural income played an important role during Diwali. New product launches and improved model supply further boosted the market and electric vehicle sales witnessed positive growth.
