Scientists from the University of Nottingham (UK) conducted a study, the results of which demonstrated the benefits of exercise for a number of diseases. These experts include cancer, heart disease, arthritis. All the data obtained during the experiments are published in the publication Gut Microbes.
The study involved 78 people with arthritis. Of these, 40 did not exercise for six weeks, and 38 did 15 minutes of exercise. As a result, the following became clear. Those who played sports were experiencing less pain by the end of the study, had higher levels of microbes in the gut, which are responsible for the production of anti-inflammatory substances, as well as fewer cytokines and more endocannabinoids.
