Just in time for the news about the imminent release of Call of Duty: Warzone Mobile, one of the authors of Call of Duty: Black Ops has returned to the radar. And he did not return empty-handed.
David Vonderhaar, a former Treyarch employee, founded the BulletFarm studio. His endeavors are financed by NetEase, and, as a result, the developer already has his first big project – an as-yet unnamed cooperative shooter on the Unreal Engine 5. Chris Cowell, another Treyarch native, will help him realize his ambitions. Now, however, industry veterans are looking for employees, so you definitely can’t expect a release in the coming years.
It is worth noting that Vonderhaar has extensive experience in the genre. He has had a hand in a variety of parts of the Call of Duty series, from Call of Duty 2: Big Red One to Call of Duty: Black Ops – Cold War. Last year, he decided to leave the studio where he spent 18 years and go free.
