BJP leader and cabinet minister in Maharashtra government Nitish Rane has made controversial remarks in a meeting targeting the Muslim community. He said that we won because of EVMs and we do not deny it, but the opponents have failed to understand the meaning of EVMs.
Speaking at the Hindu Garjana Sabha in Sangli, the BJP leader said that we won the elections because of EVMs and we have never denied this, but the opposition failed to understand the meaning of EVMs. This means every vote against Mullah. You know how our opponents shout about EVMs. They are not able to digest how Hindus are coming together and voting for Hindus. They always blame EVMs. They do not understand the meaning of EVM. They do not understand in what context Hindus voted in the recent elections. EVM means every vote against Mullah. ‘Funding came from Saudi to defeat me’
Nitish Rane claimed that we do not need the votes of Muslims to win the elections. I did not go to the Muslim community to ask for votes.
