Europe has created a climbing robot for working at dangerous heights

The robot is equipped with four rubber tires and is connected to a ground remote control via a 110-volt electric cable. It can carry a payload in the form of various attachments weighing up to 6 kg. HB1 is capable of performing ultrasonic examination and wall painting jobs.

The robot is attached to the surface by two fans: they create a vacuum by sucking air from under the front and back of the robot. Thanks to this, it does not fall and can move on ceilings, rough, curved or smooth surfaces, uneven walls. In addition, the machine can bypass obstacles in the form of electrical wires.
