ESPN deals with NFL star Tom Brady’s NFT platform Autograph

American sports broadcasting network ESPN has tied up with Autograph, a non-fungible token (NFT) platform owned by National Football League (NFL) star Tom Brady. The deal is expected to last a few years and could begin with a collection of documentary series on Brady’s NFL career. This documentary series has been jointly produced by its sports media company and ESPN.

“Man in the Arena: Tom Brady Collection” will be made available on Autograph’s platform and will be sold on the DraftKings digital marketplace. The second collection related to the growth of his career will come after the 10th episode of the series “Back in the Arena”. 50 NFTs will be digitally signed by Brady. This is ESPN’s first NFT partnership. Brady’s association with Autograph and ESPN’s presence in the sports media will help with its branding and marketing.

The bulk of Autograph’s collections and projects are tied to individual athletes, providing a strong but limited potential for NFT. Autograph will also benefit from the volume of sports content that ESPN has and the larger audience reach. NFT It uses blockchain technology to authenticate tokens of unique items that are linked to reproducible digital assets. These can include art, music, in-game items, and videos. These can be traded online but cannot be duplicated. With the increase in the business of NFTs, the cases of scams related to them have also increased. In some such cases, NFT buyers have suffered huge losses.
