Ericsson is getting rid of a Russian subsidiary. The company announced that the new owners of the Russian subsidiary of Erisson will be its operating top managers. The transaction includes the transfer of approximately 40 employees of the Russian office of Ericsson, as well as certain assets and contracts related to the business.
Ericsson emphasizes that the new business structure has nothing to do with the export of equipment, software or related services to mobile operators in Russia. At the same time, the parent company clarified that all client obligations should be terminated by the end of the year, then the Russian subsidiary will take care of supporting mobile operators in Russia on its own.
