Let us tell you that during April 2021 to February 2022, a net worth of 1.11 crore subscribers have been added to EPFO. In the entire financial year 2020-21, 77.08 lakh net members were associated with EPFO and in 2019-20, 78.58 lakh members were connected.

At the same time, there has been a net increase of 1,74,314 in comparison to February, 2021. The net number of EPFO subscribers increased to 13,79,977 in January, 2022. EPFO has recently reduced interest rates
EPFO has reduced the interest rates for the financial year 2021-22 from 8.5 percent to 8.1 percent. In the meeting of the Central Board of Trustees, it was decided that the interest rates of EPFO should be reduced for the financial year 2021-22. In this way, now its interest rates have been reduced from 8.50 percent to 8.10 percent.
