How to Check EPF Balance Online
There are four options to check EPF balance, with the help of which you can easily check your balance. In this, you can do this through UMANG, EPFO portal, SMS and missed call.
How to Check PF Balance through EPFO Portal
You can check your EPF balance in the EPFO portal by following these steps:
step 1: First of all go to EPFO Portal or directly click on this link.
Step 2: Now after this select Employees in the Service section.
Step 3: After this, on the new webpage, click on Services inside Member Passbook.
Step 4: After that you will be taken to the sign in page.
Step 5: Now after this click on Select Member ID and then select View Passbook for EPF Balance Check.
How to Check EPF Balance through UMANG App
You can also easily check EPF balance check by installing UMANG App on your mobile. The UMANG App, launched by the Ministry of Electronics and Information Technology (MeitY), is a unique platform that provides access to various government services like EPF balance check, Aadhaar etc.
step 1: If you do not have the UMANG app, download it from the Google Play Store, Apple App Store or Windows Store.
Step 2: Install the app and launch it. After that complete the registration process and complete the mobile number verification.
Step 3: Now go to the Employee Centric Services option under the EPFO option on the homepage.
Step 4: Now you have to click on View Passbook. Now enter your UAN here and click on Get OTP.
Step 5: Now enter the OTP received in the message and then click on login and go to EPF balance and view passbook on the screen.
Check EPF Balance Through SMS
If your UAN number is active i.e. must be linked with your PAN, Aadhar and Bank. So you can check EPF balance through SMS. For this you have to SMS ‘EPFOHO UAN LAN’ to 7738299899.
How to check EPF balance through missed call
Apart from these two options, you can also check your PF balance through missed call. You can also check EPF balance through registered mobile number by making a missed call on 011-22901406.
Thus, if your PF is deducted, you can easily check EPF balance online through EPFO portal, UMANG app or through SMS and missed call.
