Entry of Bajaj Pulsar NS160 and NS200 in the market, ‘there was a disturbance in the sports bike segment’

Bajaj Pulsar: Bajaj launched two updated models (NS160 and NS200) of Bajaj Pulsar, the favorite bike of sport bike enthusiasts. Which in appearance is largely similar to its current model. These bikes of the company compete with the already existing TVS, Yamaha, Hero bikes in the market. With what changes has the company introduced both these two-wheelers. Bajaj Pulsar NS160

Talking about the design of this updated Bajaj sports bike, it has been built on a perimeter frame. In which a muscular fuel tank with extensions, split-style seats, a pillar grab rail and an underbelly exhaust system along with a semi-digital instrument console, halogen headlamps, LED taillights and alloy wheels have also been provided. According to the information, the fuel capacity of this bike is up to 12L. At the same time, its ground clearance is 177 mm and weighs around 151 kg.

Bajaj Pulsar NS160 Engine

This new sports bike has a 160 cc single cylinder, oil cooled engine that meets BS6 standards, which is capable of producing maximum power of 15.3hp and highest torque of 14.6Nm. At the same time, to make the transmission of the bike more simple, the engine has been paired with a 5-speed gearbox. The company claims a top speed of 115 km/h and a fuel economy of 45 km/l from the 4O.

Bajaj Pulsar NS200

Talking about the design of the NS200, it has been introduced in the naked sports bike look with muscular fuel tank, step-up split-style seats, upswept exhaust system. This sporty bike is very much liked because of its attractive looks. This sports bike is capable of accelerating from 1 to 100 km/h in 11.68 seconds.


Bajaj Pulsar NS 200 Features

The company gives 199.5 cc engine in this bike, which gives maximum power of 24.13bhp at 9,750rpm. Which is connected to 6 speed gearbox. Apart from this, for the safety of the rider, the bike has been given single channel anti braking system and disc brakes on both the wheels. This sport bike is capable of giving a mileage of 40.84 km/l.


The company has introduced Bajaj Pulsar NS200 at a starting price of Rs 1.47 lakh ex-showroom and Bajaj Pulsar NS160 at Rs 1.37 lakh ex-showroom.
