Yandex introduced a new function of its search engine, which can make life easier for some. Now in the search results there are answers from English-language sites, already translated into Russian.
Now in Yandex search, almost all English-language Wikipedia is available, as well as popular sites about science, cinema, games and celebrities. It is important that the English Wikipedia contains 6.5 million articles, and the Russian one – only 1.7 million. It is also interesting to access Quora.com, where you can find answers to 15 million questions.
Now the search results will show the answer translated from English into Russian, and next to it there will be a link to the source.
Yandex noted that they started with English-language sites, because they account for 63% of all information on the Internet. However, other languages will be developed in the future.
