The Avtodom automobile holding, based on its own research, compiled a portrait of the average motorcycle owner in Russia.
The study involved both men and women aged 18 to 50 who are interested in motorcycles. The share of women on motorcycles, according to this study, is 26%.
The most popular profession among motorcycle owners is an engineer (39%), followed by IT specialists with 27%. Executives or business owners ranked third with a score of 19%. Specialists in the field of advertising and marketing occupy 15%.
Motorcycles have a number of advantages over cars and allow not only to move freely around the city, but also to quickly and comfortably get to the right place. At the same time, it is necessary to remember the responsibility and safety while riding motorcycles and not to neglect protective equipment.

75% of motorcyclists own a car. In the age group from 18 to 30 years (28%) of car owners travel in the summer exclusively on a motorcycle. But both types of transport in the category of 30-40 years old are used by 37% of respondents. At the age of 40 to 50 years – 35%.
82% prefer to ride alone, helmet (100%) and motor gloves (98%) are mandatory accessories. 94% wear a motorcycle jacket, 33% have knee pads.
